One of the manifestations of God’s judgment on a nation is to subject the people of that nation to rulers who hate them- who despise and oppress them. The behavior of our national leaders not only reveals God’s judgment upon our land, but also, in the words of Thomas Jefferson, “evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism.”
