The Danger Of Shallow Repentance

In Jeremiah 34, the nation of Judah responded to God's call and repented- temporarily. The U.S. has done much the same with regard to 9/11.

Praying Through Jeremiah

Jeremiah's prophecies provide a great textbook for Christians living today who would like to understand God's ways.

More on The Danger Of Shallow Repentance

America showed signs of repentance in the immediate aftermath of 9/11… but not for long.  Soon thereafter, the gay-marriage debate burst on the scene, and as we’ve seen over the following years, there’s been a continual assault on Christian liberty and our freedoms of speech.  God will turn and heal our land, but not until we’ve demonstrated a genuine repentance- the kind of repentance only God’s Spirit can bring about.
